Mrs. Aisha Al-Kurd – a member of the Edu4ALL project and head of the Inclusive Education Unit, participated in the scientific symposium organized by the Department of Media and Applied Arts – Digital Media Specialization team (There are no limits to your ability), which was titled: “The Role of University Youth in Supporting the Inclusion of Students with Disabilities in Obtaining their Higher Education”, on Monday morning, corresponding to May 29, 2023, in the main Hall. “Hisham Abu Sido”, at Palestine Technical College.

 The participation of Mrs. Al-Kurd, aimed to enrich the symposium organized by the students with their efforts within their graduation project. Mrs. Al-Kurd gave the audience an overview of the Edu4All project funded by the European Union within the Erasmus Plus program, explaining the role of the project in forming the inclusive education unit in the college, which is the most prominent outputs of the project. Al-Kurd praised the experience of Palestine Technical College, which is the first of its kind in Palestine, for the process of fully integrating students with disabilities in higher education institutes by enrolling 6 students with hearing disabilities in the fashion design and clothing industry study program. Mrs. Al-Kurd presented some of the assistive methods and techniques that PTC team received in training programs held within the project in Spain and Germany and she expressed thanks and appreciation for the organizers of this symposium, which shows the interest of the college’s students in the social issues of concern to the Palestinian society.
